Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Cost Estimator — the website estimates-pro.com, the web app and the iPhone, iPad and Android apps (together, the "Service") — provided by Brite Technologies LLC ("we", "us"). By creating an account, starting a trial or buying a subscription you agree to these Terms.
The Service
Cost Estimator turns a description of a job (typed, dictated or with photos) into an itemized construction estimate (materials, labor by trade, markup and tax), and lets you send estimates and invoices to your clients. Estimates are informational: they are based on the information you provide and on reference pricing data, and they are not a guarantee of the actual cost of the work. You are responsible for reviewing every estimate and invoice before you share it.
Accounts
You need an account to use the web app. Keep your login details confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract.
Subscriptions, trials and pricing
- Plans: Weekly — US$9.99 per week; Monthly — US$29.99 per month with a 3-day free trial; Yearly — US$79.99 per year. Optional add-on: Super Pro — US$31.99 per month with a 3-day free trial. Current prices are always shown on the pricing page and at checkout.
- Trials: a plan may start with a free trial or with a paid trial (a one-time trial fee, for example $9 for 3 days, shown before you pay). During a free trial you are not charged; for a paid trial you are charged only the trial fee. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the subscription starts automatically and you are charged the plan price at the end of the trial.
- Automatic renewal: subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (week, month or year) at the then-current price until you cancel.
- Taxes: applicable sales tax or VAT is calculated and shown at checkout before you pay.
- Price changes: if we change a price, the new price applies from your next renewal after we notify you.
Payments and merchant of record
Orders placed on estimates-pro.com are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd (Paddle), which acts as the merchant of record and reseller for those orders, and are also subject to Paddle's Buyer Terms. Subscriptions bought in the Apple App Store or Google Play are billed by Apple or Google and managed in your store account.
A subscription bought on estimates-pro.com unlocks the web app. It does not unlock the iPhone, iPad or Android apps — those are subscribed separately in the App Store or Google Play.
Cancellation
You can cancel at any time — from your account, from the link in your Paddle receipt, or by emailing hello@britetodo.com. After cancellation you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for, and you will not be charged again. Cancelling during a free trial means you are never charged. Refunds are described in our Refund Policy.
Your content
You keep all rights to the photos, project details, client details and documents you add. You give us permission to process them only to provide the Service to you. You confirm you have the right to upload them and to share your clients' details with us for this purpose.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the Service: no unlawful activity, no attempts to access other users' data, no reverse engineering, no automated scraping, and no use of estimates to deceive clients.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Brite Technologies LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, lost profits, or decisions made based on generated estimates. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes and termination
We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced on this page or by email. We may suspend accounts that break these Terms. You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.
